Walk for the Animals at Barktober Fest FAQ

  • How do I register as an individual for the Walk for the Animals at Barktober Fest?

On www.lollypop.org/bfest, click on "Register". You will be asked to put in your email address and click "Next." If your email address is already associated with a registration you will be asked to login. If you have not yet registered, follow the steps to complete your registration. After you are registered be sure you go into your Fundraising Dashboard to customize your personal page, upload photos and get started fundraising. It's that easy!

  • Will my username and password work from previous years?

In order to give you more features and a better online experience for the Walk for the Animals at Barktober Fest we switched the system in which the event is hosted. For this reason, login information from previous year's will not work this year.

  • Why use our website to collect pledges for the Walk for the Animals at Barktober Fest?

Fundraising is crucial to the success of this event! While fundraising is not required, collected donations allow us to continue our lifesaving work for homeless and abused pets in our community. We encourage each participant to set a fundraising goal. Through our event website, a number of tools make it easy to reach your goal and you may still collect donations offline. Remember, every dollar raised helps the animals at Lollypop Farm.

  • When I registered the system assigned me a goal of $200. Do I have to raise that amount to participate or can I adjust my goal at any time?

The $200 is our suggested goal for each participant, but feel free to change this! You may increase or decrease your goal during the registration process, OR log into your participant center and make the change after you are registered. If you meet your initial fundraising goal, you may raise your goal and keep on fundraising. Remember every dollar makes a difference!

  • How does my fundraising help the animals?

On average, it costs $50 to spay or neuter and provide vaccinations for one pet, so if you raise $100 you are preparing two animals for adoption!

  • Are there any tips you can give me on how to successfully fundraise?
