Helping animals often means helping people, too. We are preparing to welcome nearly 60 cats into our care, working alongside a Rochester-area community member facing significant housing challenges, who is no longer able to safely care for their beloved pets.
The cats have been exposed to distemper and will need specialized quarantine, veterinary care, and gentle monitoring before they are ready to join adoptive or foster families. Now, we can work together to create a safe and compassionate plan for the cats’ care.
This is what community care looks like. When animals and the people who care about them need help, Lollypop Farm has the experience, expertise, and capacity to respond. Our teams are already planning for the additional space and specialized care these cats will require and are working collaboratively to ensure their transition is safe and seamless.
